A
wobbly front wheel that did not pass was in fact due to the brake drum
fixing screw not fully seated before the wheel was refitted. Malcolm
saw this when I brought the Land Rover around to him to correct a few
minor failures. I got it passed in time, then it was to get insurance
and they do not have a listing for such a vehicle. Land Rover Discovery
or Range Rover yes, a Series 3, Lightweight no. Even pictures to show
it is in fact a vehicle were of little help but I am now insured as
a British Leylan Land Rover.
Since the above
write up Bruce has changed KAM 388's color and camo pattern to the below
based off pictures of a Series 3 109" that was done in "Norwegian
Winter". In fact this color scheme was so new that the paint was
still drying on it's drive to this year's (2009) All British Field Meet!!
Bruce, you're right,
this is definitely a more striking pattern!!
